Hi,
What are your daily non-negotiables?
Maybe yours kick in first thing in the morning. Perhaps they’re part of how you wind down at night. Either way, routines shape how we feel—not just physically, but emotionally and spiritually.
A solid morning routine does wonders for beauty, health, and mental clarity. And your nighttime routine? That’s about how you treat yourself when no one’s watching.
Ask yourself:
- Does your routine serve your future self?
- Or are you just trying to survive the day?
Here are a few of my favorites. You don’t have to do them all—just choose what fits your rhythm.
1. Wake & Hydrate (5 minutes)
Start with a large glass of filtered water and add lemon, trace minerals, or sea salt.
Optional: splash of apple cider vinegar or chlorophyll.
Why: Rehydrates you after sleep, kickstarts digestion, boosts natural energy.
2. Body Activation (10–15 minutes)
Choose what feels right that day:
- Rebounding (on a mini trampoline)
- Stretching or light movement (I love Pilates)
- 100 slow bodyweight reps (squats, lunges, pushups)
- Walking barefoot outside
Why: Moves your lymph, improves circulation, reduces puffiness, and clears mental fog.
3. Mind Cleanse + Mental Direction (5–10 minutes)
Options:
- Journaling (intentions, gratitude, or a brain dump)
- Reading scripture or something uplifting
- Visualization or self-affirmations
Why: Clears mental clutter, lowers stress, sets your tone for the day.
4. Skin & Scalp Ritual (5–10 minutes)
(You can also do this at night with a relaxing bath.)
Try:
- Dry brushing or gua sha
- Gentle cleanse + moisturize
- Light scalp massage with fingertips or oil
- SPF if going outside (LaBella Donna makes a great non-toxic one)
Why: Encourages lymph drainage, stimulates hair growth, supports that glow—and builds self-trust through touch.
5. Nourish Your Body (10 minutes)
Start with real food—not caffeine.
Ideas:
- Herbal tea or adaptogen drink
- Protein + fiber smoothie
- Bone broth, chia pudding, or warm oats with good fats
Why: Fuels your body with what it needs to function—before the coffee and chaos.
Bonus Layer (3–5 minutes):
Speak an affirmation or intention to yourself in the mirror:
“I choose to respect my body today and support it.”
“I show up nourished, clear, and open.”
Or simply repeat your contract or prayer.
